Mary E Corbin

Mary E. Corbin, 89, widow of Albert Franklin Corbin, formerly of Greenville, died Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at National Health Care, West Columbia. Born in Hartwell, GA., she was the daughter of the late Albert Floyd and Caroline Webb Elrod. Mrs. Corbin was retired from Steel Heddle. She was a member and Board Chair of Triune United Methodist Church for over 50 years and later attended Aldersgate United Methodist Church. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Al and Nancy Corbin of Leesville; a granddaughter, Liz Corbin-Prior; a grandson, Bert Corbin; and two great grandchildren, Bailey Marie Prior and Ashley Marie Corbin. She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Foundation of Geriatrics, C/O NHC, PO Box 2957, West Columbia, SC, 29171 or to the charity of one?s choice. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of NHC Lexington and Tri-County Hospice for the loving care given Mrs. Corbin. Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 29, 2007 at 1:30p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park with visitation to follow.
