I fondly think of "Miss Henderson" as "That Teacher" - the one we all have in our lives, if lucky. I'm from the Class of 76 at Berea High School, and this lady affected my life tremendously. She was always there for anyone who needed her, with a smile and a shoulder to cry on. She instilled a love of cooking in me that I still carry with me. We went on several out of town field trips, and she was the fun one, but never missed a teaching moment because she always wanted what was best for her kids. Even after all these years I think of her fondly and often. My condolences to the family for your loss, but take comfort in knowing she left a lasting legacy through her students.

What a terrific lady! I knew Beth from her days at Belk. I would always look for her in the Ralph Lauren department. Many times she alerted me to a special sale coming up! Oh how we loved those bargains. We always had a great time visiting. My deepest sympathy to all her family. I see by the video she was loved dearly.
