Milton Edward Hunt, 92, formerly of 1245 New McElhaney Road, Travelers Rest, died November 15, 2008. Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late Boyce Waymon and Helen Thackston Hunt.
Mr. Hunt was predeceased by his wife, Evelyn McKinney Hunt, and a daughter, Linda Lee Hunt McNaughton.
He was a member of Reedy River Baptist Church, where he joined at an early age.
Mr. Hunt was self employed in the appliance retail and well-pump supply business.
He served in the Air Force during World War II.
Surviving are a grandson, Alexander McNaughton and a son-in-law, David McNaughton, both of Tallahassee, FL.; a sister-in-law, Helen McKinney, of Travelers Rest; three nieces, and special friends, Rebecca Lanford, Eddie Poole, Ken and Martha Sprouse.
The graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at Reedy River Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. prior to the service at the Church. The family is at the home of Rebecca Lanford.
