Miriam Louise Joner

Miriam Louise Loftis Joner, 64, of 462 North Barton Road, Taylors, died Friday, August 26, 2005 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Taylors, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Aileen Brown Loftis. A graduate of Anderson College, Furman University, and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, she was employed with North Greenville College. She was also a member of Greenville Christian Fellowship. Surviving in addition to her husband, Reverend Ken Joner, founder and Pastor Emeritus of Greenville Christian Fellowship; a step-son, Ken Joner, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Easley; two step-daughters, Kaye McGee and her husband Harry of Savannah, GA., Joy Vaughn and her husband Buddy of Taylors; seven step-grandchildren; three step great grandchildren; a sister, Ellen Burgess of Asheville, NC.; and a nephew, Victor Burgess of Asheville, NC. Memorials may be made to Greenville Christian Fellowship, 2220 State Park Road, Greenville, SC 29609. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 28, 2005 at 3:00 PM at Greenville Christian Fellowship. Visitation will be held prior to the services from 1:00 ? 3:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Greer.
