Missie Creech Amor

Mary Glen ?Missie? Green Creech Amor, 37, of 100 Lewis Drive, died Wednesday, March 28, 2007. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of James E. ?Jim? and Margaret Steinberg Creech of Greenville. Ms. Amor was a graduate of J.L. Mann High School and the University of South Carolina. She was a Greenville area volunteer with the American Red Cross, Magnolia Manor, Loaves and Fishes, City of Greenville, Triune Mercy Center, Greenville Zoo, M.L.K. Dream Weekend, Freetown Community Association, Serenity Kids, United Ministries, Simpsonville Senior Community Center and the YMCA. She was a member of Buncombe Street United Methodist Church. Surviving, in addition to her parents, are a sister and brother-in-law, Bailey and David McDonald; a brother and sister-in-law, Marty and Nicki Creech; two nieces, Amelia Bailey Creech and Anna Townsend Creech; a nephew, David Gibson Creech McDonald; and her dog, Killer Amor. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Steinberg of Charleston and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Marion A. Creech, Jr. of Greenville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to NAMI of South Carolina, in memory of Missie Creech Amor, PO Box 1267, Columbia, SC 29202. Visitation will be held Friday, March 30, 2007 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the home of her parents, 225 East Parkins Mill Road, Greenville. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 31, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Buncombe Street United Methodist Church with the Reverend Dr. Doug Bowling and the Reverend Ben Cunningham officiating.
