Morris Stobo Stepp

April 7, 1937 - December 28, 2005
Morris Stobo Stepp, 68, devoted husband, father, and grandfather, of 317 Motor Boat Club Road, died on Wednesday, December 28, 2005. Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Roy and Martha Rice Stepp. Mr. Stepp served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of Parisview Baptist Church. He retired as President of Teamsters Union Local #28 after over twenty years of service and was a member of Cooper Masonic Lodge 282 AFM and Hejaz Shrine Temple. He enjoyed fishing, playing golf, and most of all his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Linda Smith Stepp, of the home; two daughters, Sonya Kennedy and husband Mike, and Janean Weaver and husband Jason, all of Greenville; two brothers, Jim and Wayne Stepp, both of Travelers Rest; two sisters, Audrey Cantrell and Margaret Styles, both of Travelers Rest; and three grandchildren, Christian and Caleb Kennedy, and Baylee Weaver. He was predeceased by a sister, Betty Metcalf. Visitation will be held on Friday from 6:30 ? 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Services will be held on Saturday at Parisview Baptist Church at 12 Noon. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Parisview Baptist Church, 100 Bud Street, Greenville, SC 29617.
