Myrtle Beatrice Phillips Prince, 98, of Greenville, died Thursday, December 06, 2007 at Oakmont West Nursing Center. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Baylous Cleveland Phillips and Nannie Bishop Phillips Dalton and wife of the late William Earl Prince. Mrs. Prince was a homemaker and former employee of Cone Mill, American Spinning Company. She was a member of Cherrydale Baptist Church formerly Morgan Memorial Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Wallace C. Prince and wife Nell of Myrtle Beach and James Earl Prince and wife Evelyn Prince of Greenville; seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and ten great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Mitchell Prince; a sister, Viola Herrin; and a brother, B.C. Phillips. The funeral service will be held graveside at Graceland Cemetery, West at 10:30 am Friday. Visitation will be held from 9:15 ? 10:00 am prior to the service at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels, 13 Oregon Street, Greenville, SC 29605 or to the charity of one?s choice. The family is at the home of son, James Prince, 103 Hiwassee Drive.
