Nancy M. Rhodes

Nancy M. Rhodes, 68, wife of Billy A. Rhodes, Sr. for 49 years, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 13, 2008. Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Ralph W. and Martha Wilson McAlister. Mrs. Rhodes attended Boulder Fashion College in Atlanta, GA and was a self-employed Interior Designer. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Anderson. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons Timothy W. Rhodes and his wife Sharon and Billy A. Rhodes, Jr. and his wife Lisa, of Taylors; four grandchildren, Tara Brannon, Staci Byrd, Alison Rhodes and Michelle Everett; four great-grandchildren, Katlyn Alexander, MacKensie Brannon, T.J. Brannon and Abigale Everett. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sara Ruth Mullinax. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 16 at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown, with visitation at the funeral home on Monday December 15 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The family will be at 120 Forestdale Drive, Taylors, SC.
