Nannie Elizabeth Henley Carr

Nannie Elizabeth Henley Carr, 96, of 24 7th Avenue, widow of Clinton Carr, Sr., died October 22, 2007.
Born in Abington, VA, she was the daughter of the late Walter G. and Lula Orfield Henley.
Mrs. Carr was a retired employee of Big Jack Co. in Bristol, TN and a member of Park Place Church of God.
Surviving are four daughters, Betty Frye of Bristol, VA, Mary Mann, Linda Staples, and Nancy McMurray, all of Greenville; three sons, Tom Carr, Sr., of Greenville, Johnny Carr of Ft. Inn, and Clint Carr, Jr. of Simpsonville; one brother, Kerry Henley of Abingdon, VA; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. The funeral services will be conducted at Park Place Church of God at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2007, with burial in Greenville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. ? 8:00 p.m. at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Memorials may be made to Winyah Community Hospice Care, 880 S. Pleasantburg Drive, Suite 1-A, Greenville, SC 29607.
