Mrs. Nannie Mae Ferguson, 95, of Greenville, SC, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, April 01, 2006 at Skylan Place in Spartanburg, SC. Born in Pickens County, she was the wife of the late John Frank Ferguson, and a daughter of the late Leila and Lawrence Cisson, and mother to two sons, Lawrence Ferguson, and his wife, Barbara, of Spartanburg, and the late Thomas Ferguson and his wife, Sybil, of Greenville. Mrs. Ferguson was the oldest member of Berea First Baptist Church where she faithfully served in the ?Fidelis? Sunday School Class, as well as the Senior Adult Choir. Throughout the years, she served at Berea, she touched the lives of countless children by demonstrating the love of Christ to them. Others left to cherish fond and loving memories are: four grandchildren, Pam Brown Richard, of Atlanta, Ricky Ferguson Sue, of Greenville, Chip Ferguson Laurie, of Spartanburg, and Ronnie Ferguson of Greenville; six great-grandchildren, Laura Cooksey Kyle of Nashville, Victoria and Annalee Ferguson, of Spartanburg, Halen Ferguson and Sarah and Sally Ferguson, all of Greenville; two sisters, Edith Evans and Addie Lou Ware Edmund of Greenville; 18 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 12 noon, Monday, at Berea First Baptist Church with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be 10:45-11:45 am prior to the service at the church. Honorary escorts at the funeral will be the ?Fidelis? Sunday School Class, the Senior Adult Choir, and the ?HH? Girls. The family will be at the home, 9473 Old White Horse Road, Greenville.
