Natalie Galeota Soniat du Fossat

Natalie Galeota Soniat du Fossat, 81, of 10 Conley Street, wife of Edward Charles Soniat du Fossat, died Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at her residence. Born in Oakfield, NY, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Carmela Carmosina Galeota. Mrs. Soniat du Fossat was retired from Bigelow Carpet. She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Guild, the Rosary Society, and the Bereavement Committee. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Dr. Kent McDonald of St. George, UT, Elizabeth and Scott Thomas of Kernersville, NC; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ed and Pamela Soniat du Fossat of Marietta, GA, James and Kathi Soniat du Fossat of Simpsonville; twelve grandchildren; four sisters, Ann Orlando, Kathleen Bisone, Mary Filippone, Quin Hink; and two brothers, Dr. Samuel Galeota and Dr. Phillip Galeota. She was preceded in death by a grandchild. Natalie will be remembered by her family and friends as being a loving and caring wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and friend. She was an adventurous soul who inspired her family to be fair, loving, and adventurous people. She was fantastic Italian chef who taught her family to love cooking, laugh, play, forgive, and pray always. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 3710 Augusta Road, Greenville, SC A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, April 01, 2006 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park.
