Nellie McCroskey Addis, 83, died Friday, January 13, 2005. Born in Bristol, TN, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Hattie McCroskey and the wife of the late George D. Addis. Surviving are a daughter, Evelyn Dennis; two sons, Frederick Elrod and wife, Elizabeth, and Kenneth Elrod; a brother, Bill McCroskey, eleven grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Rebecca Honeycutt. Visitation will be from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. Tuesday at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, with funeral services at noon in the chapel. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, West.
