Felix, Max and Isabella. Thank you for allowing me to attend from Arizona, this beautiful memorial for Norma. Yes, I had tears as I watched her beautiful smile. Loved your music selection and the story that went with it. Love Aunt Betty

I miss Norma not being in my ballet class. Her smile was the prettiest I've seen! Her consistent attendance (missing only if her children needed her else where) and determination allowed her talent to shine with improvements weekly. I could count on Norma knowing what to do, so I followed her often. And I always knew if something wasn't exactly as she hoped, as she had this wonderful laugh! A bright & wonderful soul that I am thankful I met!

Felix, Isabella, and Max, my heart hurts for you in the loss of Norma. Her smile and demeanor alone uplifted so many of us. I remember the first time she had a fitting for Nutcracker Party Parent, she couldn’t breathe, I told her just 5 lbs will help, she smiled and said sure, I’ll loose it.of course she did. I will miss her for a long time, I know she’s smiling down at all of us.

Felix She was remarkable! I will miss dancing with her on stage and the mischievous smile I’d get if I screwed up. Beth and I wish you many warm memories and a peaceful soul. Take care, my friend.

Dear Felix, Max and Isabella, I am very sorry for your loss. Your mother was a very special, and my good friend for many years. We used to be coworkers and then roommates when she lived in Maryland. I remember when she used to bring you kids to visit me when you were little. She went home to the Lord on Ash Wednesday. She and I used love to go to Mass together in that day every year. She will be greatly missed by our family. Carmen, Martin and Sophia

They say a picture is worth 1000 words. Oh that smile! Norma's spirit, love and kindness shines through right to your heart in the chosen picture for her Obituary. Light here on earth dimmed as she moved into heaven where I believe she brightened her parents and sisters not to mention friends and family there. I treasure the phone calls we had while she was ill. Laughing and engaging in life. Exactly how she was from Charlotte just a few weeks ago, when she drove Isabella for her tryouts for the National Ballet Academy (which she made!). I always remember her beautiful smile, no matter the occasion. We were all so lucky to have her in our family. I remember her driving her Dad, to my sister Carol's house in Ocean View, DE. He was in the middle of his Pancreatic battle. My sister made some of our Mom's favorite meals each night which we all ate after happy hour on her back porch every evening. The same porch Rita gave Isabella a few violin lessons. I was able to discuss a potential science project for Isabella...growing her hair (which I believe the teacher did not accept). Both Norma and her Dad..always the smile. I am forever grateful she and her brother Jimmy traveled to Sacramento for my daughter Carol's funeral (also of Pancreatic Cancer). Norma and Felix also came to Bill and Carol's memorial in DC , Norma doing a reading, Felix taking his beautiful photos. Always the smile. I love you Norma! Your family has a home here in Arizona. Love Aunt Betty

For many years Norma was tremendous part of the International Ballet family and will be missed more than I can say. She was a BRIGHT LIGHT, smiling and laughing always. She was eager to dance in Adult Ballet and inspired so many people. She performed beautifully in the Party Scene of the Nutcracker and in our Gala fundraisers. She volunteered and helped out in many areas whenever help was needed. And of course, she supported her daughter, and was the kind of dance mom that leaves a legacy. My heart is broken that she is gone so young. On behalf of the International Ballet organization, we pray for healing for her family at this difficult time. Norma - we will always love you and miss you.
