Olen Franklin Marks

Olen Franklin Marks, 98, of NHC Mauldin, died Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Greenville Memorial Medical Center. Born in Huntsville, AL, he was a son of the late James Edgar and Lema Sue Spencer Marks. Prior to his retirement, he worked in textile sales. He was a Shriner and Mason and volunteered in the custom brace and wheelchair unit with Shriner's Hospital. He was of the Lutheran faith. Surviving are his grandson, Jim Marks, of Baltimore, MD; granddaughter, Linda Elizabeth, of Alexandria, VA; and brother, Harold Marks, of Huntsville, AL. Visitation will be held Sunday from 4:00 pm until 5:30 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Burial will be held in Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville, AL at a later date. The family is at their respective homes.
