Ovelean Jones Bishop, 84, died Thursday, October, 26, 2006, at Magnolia Manor in Spartanburg. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late John C. Jones and Minnie Brookshire Jones. She was the wife of the late Robert ?Rob? Bishop. Mrs. Bishop was retired from Stone Manufacturing. She was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Max E. Bishop of Greenville; a granddaughter, Michelle Sleiman of Taylors; and a grandson, Tim Bishop of Greenville. Mrs. Bishop predeceased by a son, Bobby Bishop. Graveside services will be held Sunday, at 3:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, Sunday,
at 1:30-2:30 p.m. prior. Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association of SC, 2711 Middleburg Drive, Suite 312, Columbia, SC 29204-2413.
