Patton Bryson Conrad

May 16, 1957 - November 28, 2008
Verina Patton Bryson Conrad, 51, wife of Kevin Peter Conrad, died Friday, November 28, 2008 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of Verena LaMar Lewis Bryson and the late William Jefferson Bryson. Mrs. Conrad received her undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston and a Masters Degree from the University of South Carolina. She retired from the Greenville County Library after 17 years of service as a Research Librarian. She attended Covenant United Methodist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are twin daughters, Erin Leigh Conrad and Blair Christine Conrad, and a brother, William Jefferson Bryson, Jr., of Cayce. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Sunday, November 30, 2008, at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will be held at Covenant United Methodist Church in Greer, SC, on Monday, December 1, 2008 at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Greenville County Library, 25 Heritage Green Place, Greenville, SC 29601.
