Paul E. Ruff

Paul E. Ruff, 79, of 10 Fairhope Lane, died Sunday, December 7, 2008. Born in Pelham, he was a son of the late Marshall Eugene Ruff and Ella Gosnell Ruff Howard. Mr. Ruff served in the US Air Force during the Korean War era. He was a member of Tremont Church of God. Surviving is his wife of forty-two years, Grace Broadwater Ruff; two daughters, Janice Propes and husband Eddy and Tondra Freeman and husband Charlie; three sons, Glenn Ruff, Michael Ruff and wife Kimberly, and Greg Bagwell and wife Barbara; a sister, Betty Smith; a brother, Jess Ruff; thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister and two brothers. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 9, 2008 from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will be Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at 3:00 pm at Tremont Church of God. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, West. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tremont Church of God, 2854 New Easley Hwy, Greenville, SC 29611.
