Paul John Rukavina

Paul John Rukavina, 90, widower of Ann Mildred Bogovich Rukavina, died Tuesday, November 27, 2007. Born in Garfield, UT, he was the son of the late John Rukavina and Mary Rukavina Butorac. Mr. Rukavina was a retired Tool & Dye worker and a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. He was a World War II Army veteran. Surviving are a daughter, Joyce Peck and husband John of Simpsonville; two grandchildren, Justin and Jessica Peck; and a sister Anne White of Canton, OH. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Peter and Steven, a half brother Joe and two sisters, Katherine and Mary. Memorials may be made to Catholic Charities of South Carolina, 1662 Ingram Rd., Charleston, SC 29407 or St. Vincent De Paul Society at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 2252 Woodruff Rd., Simpsonville, SC 29681. For those wishing to have a Mass offered for Paul, the family asks that they be celebrated at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, Simpsonville, SC or St. Paul?s Catholic Church, Canton, OH. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at noon at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church with visitation prior to the service from 11:15 to 11:45 a.m. in the Narthex of the church.
