Paul Johnson Coleman

Paul Johnson Coleman, 67, of Greenville died Saturday, August 13, 2005 at his home. Born in Travelers Rest, SC, he was the son of the late Nelson Poe and Ruth Johnson Coleman. Mr. Coleman was retired from the US Army as Sgt. 1st Class after 30 years of service. He also retired from the Civil Service. He was a member of the Cooper Masonic Lodge and Enoree Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Jan Coleman Campbell of Columbia, Julie Coleman Jernigan and her husband, Richard, of Travelers Rest; a sister, Mae Turner and her husband, Rufus, of Travelers Rest; four grandchildren, Brittany and Chase Campbell of Columbia, Hunter and Colton Jernigan, of Travelers Rest. Mr. Coleman was predeceased by a granddaughter, Melissa Campbell. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel with burial in Grand View Memorial Gardens with full military honors at the graveside. Honorary Escort will be the 391st Combat Engineers. Visitation will be from 6:30 ?8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home. The family will be at the home of the daughter, Julie C. Jernigan, 523 Enoree Road, Travelers Rest.
