Paul L. Ferrell

Paul L. Ferrell, 82, of 8 Lynhurst Drive, died Sunday, October 16, 2005. Born in Fort Mill he was a son of the late S.H. and Dovie Harris Ferrell. Mr. Ferrell served in the U.S. Army during WWII where he received a Purple Heart and retired from the SC Highway Patrol after thirty-two years of service. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and Judson Masonic Lodge #319. Surviving are his wife of sixty-two years, Mildred Carrouth Ferrell, of the home; a daughter, Sandra Lollis, of Easley; three sons, Paul Roger Ferrell of Greenville, Jerry Ferrell of Rock Hill, and Donald ?Don? Ferrell of Greenville; fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by two sisters, Dorothy Boatwright and Ruby Gardner and three brothers, Zola Ferrell, Arthur Ferrell and J.C. Ferrell. Services will be held on Wednesday at 12 Noon at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest with visitation from 10:45 ? 11:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at Greenville Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Salem United Methodist Church, 2700 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC 29611. The family is at the residence.
