Phyllis Darlene Freeman Burnett, 48, of 633 Slatton Shoals Road, wife of Timothy Dean Burnett, Sr., died Wednesday, July 16, 2008. Mrs. Burnett was born in Easley. She was formerly employed with H&R Block. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Deidra Danielle Burnett Green of Travelers Rest; two sons, Jeremy Derrick Burnett of Pelzer, Timothy Dean Burnett, Jr. of Fair Play; five grandchildren, Tiffani, Kassadi and Kaleb Burnett, Taylor and Tyler Green; father and stepmother, Gene and Mary Elizabeth Freeman of Tylertown, MS; mother and stepfather, Sandra and Gene Steele of Greenville; two sisters, Rhonda Hubbard and Angela Lyons both of Greenville; and a brother, Mark Freeman of Williamston. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 19, 2008 from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. A graveside service will be held Sunday, July 20, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. in Graceland Cemetery, West. The family will be at he home of her daughter, 39 Rawood Drive, Travelers Rest.
