Polly Owens Hardy

Polly Hardy, 81, was raised up to Heaven to be with her Savior on Sunday, February 25, 2007. Born in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Smiley and Lillie Owens. Surviving are her only child, Harold Sherbert, Sr. and his wife, Renee, of Mauldin; four granddaughters, Kathy Barton and her husband, David, of Fountain Inn, Donna Johnson and her husband, Brian, of Gray Court, Wanda Gamache of Columbia, Kim Hill and her husband, Mike, of Piedmont; three grandsons, Harold Sherbert, Jr. and his wife, Penny, of Blue Ridge, Michael Sherbert and his wife, Heather, of Piedmont, Robbie Sherbert of Charleston; sixteen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice, 421 S.E. Main Street, Simpsonville, SC 29681. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at Roper Mountain Baptist Church. Visitation will be held prior to the services from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. in the church sanctuary. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will be at the home of her son, Harold Sherbert in Mauldin.
