Dear Rose family,
We love you all so much. Keith and I were saved under Bro. Jimmy’s preaching in 1976.
We so appreciate him and will miss him but know he’s painfree now and in the place he preached about.
Thank you Bro. Jimmy and thank you family for giving out Jesus!
Praying for you. ❤️
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
Meus sentimentos a toda família Rose pelo falecimento do Pr.
A sempre continuar, continuando. A amar o meu Deus e a Palavra.
Meu pastor me ensinou muito e me desceu as águas do batismo.
Brother Jimmy Rose preached many revivals for us at Pine Grove Baptist Church and was a blessing to us. I can hear him say " Howdy, Brothern". I hope to see him in Heaven when he will be there with all the ones he has brought to Christ thru his preaching.
What a man of God. Hope the family could find comfort in God’s grace during this hard moment. Thank you pastor Jimmy Rose for making the difference in my country, Brazil, many souls saved by his ministry....

Words cannot express the impact that “Uncle Jimmy” has had on our family. From the time we arrived in Brazil in 1975, he and Aunt Nancy have been a treasured part of our family. All 5 of our children were educated in his ACE program. Whenever a small child got a skinned knee or a minor cut or bruise, they were escorted to Uncle Jimmy’s office and allowed to lay on his couch for a few minutes while he gave them a honey packet and prayed for them. He was a constant example of God’s Grace. To Kirk and I, he was our mentor and his love for his Savior and for people was obvious. Brazilians will forever love and be in debt to this servant of the Most High that answered the call of God upon his life. To know him was to love him.
Our family was so blessed to have known Brother Jimmy Rose. His preaching, praying, and witnessing left a mark on those observing him. He preached 10 years in a row the anniversary of the founding of the Igreja Batista Fundamental, in Porto Alegre, Brazil. We participated in those meetings as colleagues of Roger and Sharon Crowder, the founders. Brother Rose was compassionate, straightforward in his preaching, compassionate, consistent in his witnessing, and compassionate, fervent in his praying. We lovingly referred to him as the "Apostle Paul" to Brazil..His impact for Christ was felt across this mission field
We look forward to rejoicing with him at the feet of Jesus for all eternity. It behooves we who remain to follow his godly example.
Tammy and I send our heart-felt condolences to the Rose family. Brother Jimmy may be gone, but he will never be forgotten. To God be the glory!

“ Combati o bom combate, terminei a carreira, guardei a fé”. 2 Timóteo 4:7 💔🙏
"Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints." (Psalm 116:15) Praise God we don't sorrow as those who have no hope. Absent from the body and present with the LORD! Ed Rose 🌹

2 Timothy 4:7-8
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

It was my pleasure to hear Bro. Jimmy Rose preach when I came to Tabernacle Baptist Bible College under Dr. Harold B. Sightler. Bro. Rose was a spiritual warrior for the cause of Christ. His life and testimony is a great example for all of us.
To you, his family, we send love and we are praying for you. God bless you all

Brother Jimmy was a great friend to me over the years. He will be dearly missed, but heaven will bring us all together again. I was saved under his ministry in 1959 as a 9 year old boy. He was a great blessing to me and my family.
My heart aches for Nancy and the family but rejoices that Jimmy is now in the presence of his Savior whom he loved so much!
