Preston W. ?Pete? Kellett, 77, of 67 Smythe Avenue, Dunean, widower of Betty Cothran Kellett, died Monday, September 04, 2006, at his daughter?s residence. Born in Ware Place, he was a son of the late Preston and Pattie Owens Kellett. Mr. Kellett was retired from the Greenville County School District and attended Dunean Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Janice Kellett Walls of Greenville; two sons, Wayne Kellett of Charleston, and Ken Kellett of Greenville; a sister, Lorriane Garrett of El Campo, TX.; three grandchildren, Chanda Hawkins, Brandy Walls, Danielle Kellett; and three great grandchildren, Chelesa and Wesley Hawkins and Jackson Kellett. Memorials may be made to Winyah Community Hospice Group, 114 B Hospital Drive, Simpsonville, SC 29681. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2006 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. in the Northwest Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
