Rawley Edmund DeBoe, Sr

Rawley Edmund DeBoe, Sr., 89, husband of Pearl Anderson DeBoe, died Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at Oakmont East. Born in Lynch Station, VA, he was the son of the late Charlie Augustas and Ora Jennings DeBoe. A veteran of World War II, Mr. DeBoe served in the Merchant Marines. He retired from Greenville Tech after 20 years of service as a welding instructor. He was also a member of Tremont Church of God. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Timothy E. DeBoe of Greenville and Rawley E. DeBoe, Jr. and his wife, Carol of Mauldin; and three grandchildren, Amanda Leigh, Eva Paige and Timothy Brayden DeBoe. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to A.L.S. Hope Foundation, PO Box 40777, Philadelphia, PA 19107. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2006 at 1:30 PM at Tremont Church of God. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:30 PM until 1:15 PM at the church.
