Raymond Joseph Arceneaux, 89, husband of the late Mary Lou Arceneaux, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022.

Born in Oakland, CA, he was the son of the late Sylvester and Agnes Barrios Arceneaux.

Raymond retired from the United States Air Force and he proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. He had a strong work ethic, he was employed by Electric City Sign Co, in Anderson previously before becoming Fire Commissioner with the Parker District Fire and Sewer.

He is survived by daughters, Kim Bradshaw and Gail Kellett (Rick); grandchildren, Erica Peden (Josh) and Hannah Bradshaw; and great grandchildren, Brynlee Roberts, Easton Roberts and Jake Peden.

In addition to his loving wife and parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Betty Leonard; and brothers, Hayes Arceneaux and Ronald Arceneaux.

A visitation will be held Friday, February 18, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest, with a funeral service to follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Northwest Chapel. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery West.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ United Methodist Church, 901 Easley Bridge Rd, Greenville, SC 29611.
