Raymond Thomas Hooper

Raymond Thomas Hooper, 76, of 24 Konnarock Circle, died on Tuesday, January 9, 2007. Born in Danielsville, GA, he was the son of the late Garfield and Fleeta Perry Hooper. Mr. Hooper served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Sunshine Biscuit after thirty-two years of service. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of fifty-one years, Doris Louise Ledford Hooper, of the home; two daughters, Cheryl Rainey and husband Phil, and Cynthia Blanchard and husband Troy, all of Greenville; a sister, Margaret Freeland and husband Bob, of Greenville; a granddaughter, Emili Blanchard; and a grandson, Nathan Rainey and fiancé Emily Gibson. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 7:00 ? 8:30 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Services will be held on Friday at 11:30 am at Bethel Baptist Church. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Candler, NC. The Bob Clayton Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church, Building Fund, 403 Sulphur Springs Road, Greenville, SC 29617. The family is at the residence.
