Rebecca Lynn Trusty, 69, of Greenville, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024.
Born in Greenville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Loosh and Lucille Murray Trusty.
Becky was a beautiful soul who was incredibly generous. She loved her family deeply and was a warm, welcoming presence to all of those around her. Becky had a caring heart and brought such a positive light to everything. She loved all animals, particularly her cats, who were very loved and spoiled.
In her free time, Becky enjoyed road trips to the gulf beaches of Florida and the blue ridge mountains of Georgia. She was an incredible artist who had an eye for bringing anything to life with her touch. She served as an extension to the Warehouse Theatre for many years and served on the Board of Directors. She also had an extensive career as a paralegal.
She is survived by sisters, Cindy Mullinax (fiancé, Lindsey Ginn), and Debby Mitchell; brother, John Trusty; nieces and nephews, Eva Frazier (Chris), Lynda Colon (Ronnie), Kristin Rittenhouse (Jason), Christopher Mullinax (Lauren), Hannah Mullinax(fiancé, Clay Scott), and Andrea Jackson (Jeremy); and great nieces and nephews, Eydie Colon, Mali Colon, Brycen Rittenhouse, Caroline Gosnell, Zaiden Jackson, Lyla Rittenhouse and Zenleigh Jackson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Roy Ford and William Aaron “Bill” Murray (Gayla).
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
