Regina Dimond Myers, 87, of Taylors, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022.
Born in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Elliot and Elizabeth Dimond.
Regina received her bachelor’s degree from Rosary College in Chicago, IL and was a devoted and hardworking mother of three. After raising her children, Regina embarked on her second career as a Tax Preparation Specialist with H&R Block.
She was a faithful communicant of Prince of Peace Catholic Church where she previously served as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector.
Regina’s memory is forever cherished in the hearts of her three children, Ann Woods, Christopher Myers, and Julia Mallory; four grandchildren, Echo Woods, Gary Woods, Jr., David Mallory, Heather Mallory; and two great-grandchildren, Trinity Woods and Ayden Selman. She is also survived by two sisters, Mary Hagen and Maureen Emerson; three brothers, Frank Dimond, Anthony Dimond, Paul Dimond; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Betty Ann Smith and Sheila Merrifield; and three brothers, Thomas Dimond, Jr., Michael Dimond, and Robert Dimond.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Taylors. At the kind request of her family, there will be no public visitation and burial will be privately held at a later date.
