Robert Lee Barrs, 75, husband of Faith Barrs, died Wednesday, July 7, 2021.

Born in Hinesville, GA, he was a son of the late William and Alif Rapier Barrs.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Patricia Sue Myers and husband, Scott, and Roberta Hamby and husband, Michael; son, James Barrs and wife, Tracie; seven grandchildren, Hannah Bolt, Nicole Gusmus, Brittani Osborne, Adam Pearson, Hanna Mullikin, Abbey Barrs, and Harrison Barrs; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Faye Atkins and husband, Jack; and brother, Bill Barrs and wife, Grace.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Ruby Bosurgi; and three brothers, Benny Barrs, Jim Barrs, and Warren “Bud” Barrs.

A visitation will be held Saturday, July 10, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Entombment will be in the Greenville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
