Robert "Bobby" Ernie Bridges, 61, of 19 Fern Valley Lane, died Wednesday, June 25, 2008. Born in Aiken, he was the son of the late Ernest Tugaloo and Ruby Lee Hodges Bridges. Mr. Bridges was employeed with the Veterans Administration and served his country during the Vietnam War in the US Army. Surviving is his wife, Carolyn E. Bridges; daughters, Crystal Buckner, Diane Almond, Lisa Zimmerman, Kimberly Hamilton and Terri Hamilton; sons, Michael Robinson, Robert E. Bridges, Jr., Michael N. Bridges and his wife, Michelle; sister, Ann Alberson and her husband, Ray; nineteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, June 28, 2008 from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will be Sunday, June 29, 2008 at 1:30 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will be at 7 Canvasback Trail, Greenville, SC.
