Robert “Bob” Kelly

Robert “Bob” Kelly, 91, husband of Ann Kelly of Greer, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024.

Born in New York, NY, he was the son of the late John and Charlotte Sutton Kelly.

Bob was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, in Taylors, SC. He served his country for 26 years in the U.S. Army. Bob was a manager for Crosby Typographers in New York City. He retired from Newsday in Long Island.

In addition to his wife of 68 years, Bob is survived by daughter, Nancy Barry (Ed); son, Kenneth Kelly and son, Robert Kelly (Lisa); eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Bob was the third from the youngest of eleven brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his siblings.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church followed by inurnment at 2:00 p.m. in M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1209 Brushy Creek Rd, Taylors, SC 29687.
