Robert Murray Wickett, Jr., RLS, 53, of 601 Cleveland Street, died Monday, October 20, 2008 at his residence. Born in Detroit, MI, he was a son of the late Robert Murray Wickett, Sr. and Dr. Dolores Davis Wickett. Mr. Wickett was a Registered Land Surveyor and member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Surviving are two sons, Jake Thomas Wickett and Max Robert Wickett both of Anchorage, Alaska; brother, Timothy John Wickett of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Susan Schafer Gioia of Greenville; brother, Daniel James Wickett of Piedmont; and sister, Amy Beth Stinson of Springfield, VA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Richard Wickett. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St, Josephs High School, St. Anne's Guild Library Fund, 100 St. Josephs Drive, Greenville, SC 29607. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Thursday at 12 Noon. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will be at their respective homes.
