Ronald David Howell

Ronald David Howell, 50, of 149 Elbert Clark Drive, died on Wednesday, December 14, 2005. Born in Columbia, he was a son of Sylvia Lovett Howell of Columbia, and the late Joseph H. Howell, Sr. Mr. Howell graduated from Spring Valley High School and was owner of Howell, Inc., and he was the bass player for the Singing Howells and formerly worked for Roadway Express. He was an ordained minister and a member of Redemption World Outreach. He was a loving husband and father. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Deborah Grant Howell, of the home; two daughters, Melissa Widner of Greenville and Angel Howell of Easley; five sons, Chris Howell of Greenville, Brian Howell of Simpsonville, Zion Howell of Easley, Nick Smith of Easley, and Jeremy Smith of Idaho; two sisters, Carolyn Heur of Columbia and Teresa Howell of Charleston; three brothers, Joey, Wade and Danny Howell, all of Columbia; and six grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 6:30 ? 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Services will be held on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Graceland East Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, monetary contributions may be made to the Howell Family, 149 Elbert Clark Drive, Easley, SC 29640. The family is at the residence.
