Ronald Gene Huffman

Ronald Gene Huffman, 61, of Powdersville, loving husband of Sally Huffman, passed away on December 16, 2008. Born in Washington DC, he was the son of the late George and Hazel Paschal Huffman. Ronnie was employed in sales at Piedmont Electrical Distribution for 40 years. He served in the U.S. Army and attended St. Luke's Catholic Church. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Surviving, in addition to his wife of 39 years, are his daughter Veronica Zuniga and her husband Victor of Shelby, NC; three grandchildren, Aydan, Zoe' and Gabriel – who were the joy of his life; his sister Buretta Owenby of Arden, NC, and a nephew, Mark Owenby and his wife Beth. He leaves behind many friends in the electrical business. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke's Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 20. Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Friday, December 19 at 6:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest with visitation following until 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Holy Cross Catholic Church, 558 Hampton Ave., Pickens, SC 29671.
