Rosalie Mace Redick, 101, widow of H. Theron Redick, died Thursday, October 31, 2013. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Robert Valentine Mace, Sr. and May Lavenia Goodnough Mace. Mrs. Redick was retired from Westboro Weaving and a member of East Park Baptist Church. Surviving are a sister, Blanche Meaders of Greenville; a brother, R.V. Mace, Jr. of Greenville; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Bobbie S. Redick; and three brothers, Frank, William and Max Mace. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 2, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown with the funeral service following at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to East Park Baptist Church, 12 Ebaugh Avenue, Greenville, SC 29607.

Hi I am Shane Phillips from Sydney Australia. In 1985 I was the guest of Gladys L Babb and Bobbie Redick and had the pleasure of meeting Bobbie's mum Rosalie Redick.I returned in 1989 with my mum, Patricia Shewan (dec. 19 Nov 2014) and was lucky enough to introduce her to Rosalie and her sister Blanche and all the Meaders and Reynolds and Babbs. This was my mum's first visit anywhere overseas and she never forgot it.
