Rosalyn I. Dominey, 86, beloved wife of the late Elliott Durwood Dominey, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024.
Born in Dublin, GA, she was a daughter of the late Will and Julia Kellam.
Rosalyn was a compassionate and loving woman who had a zest for life. She enjoyed music and used her beautiful voice to bring joy to others as a member of the Women of Worth Ministry, performing at various assisted living facilities. Rosalyn was a member of Conestee Church of God and had a special love for her church family. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family dearly.
She is survived by her children, Glenn Dominey (Lisa) and Irene Dominey Harbin (John); grandchildren, Jonathan Harbin (Jacqueline), Andrew Harbin (April), Alexis Rae Dominey, Lindsay Renae Taylor, and Jeremy Nelson Taylor; great grandchild, Sierra Harbin; sister, Caroline Fennell; brother-in-law, Puckett Hall; and beloved fur baby, Precious.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by great grandchild, Danielle Ann Harbin; sister, Margaret Anne Hall; and brother-in-law, Henry Franklin Fennell.
A visitation will be held Thursday, January 18, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Burial will be held in Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
