Gaynelle Langley Thomas, 87, died July 4, 2004, at Oakmont West Nursing Home. Born in Greenville, she was the widow of Charlie Nathan Thomas. She was retired from Stone Manufacturing and was a member of Fair Heights Baptist Church where she was the organist. Mrs. Thomas was the daughter of the late William Beardan and Bessie Andrews Langley. Surviving are six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Nathan Thomas. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 2:50 p.m. Tuesday at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, West. Memorials may be made to Fair Heights Baptist Church, 302 Parkins Mill Rd., Greenville, SC 29607. The family is at their respective homes.
