Ruby Brown Boling

Ruby Brown Boling, 83, formerly of Greenville, SC, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Mary Brown Mrs. Boling was a homemaker and member of Monaghan Baptist Church for 30 years. Surviving is her son, Marvin "Carter" Boling and his wife, Fran, of Denver Lake Norman, NC/ Hilton Head, SC; son-in-law, Winford Eugene Dickert, Jr. and his wife, Margaret, of Due West, SC; eight grandchildren, Terry Dickert and wife, Kim, of Lynchburg, VA, Jim Dickert of Bend, OR, Pam Dickert Chitwood of Boone's Mill, VA, Robert Dickert and wife, Linda, of Blacksburg, VA, Don Boling of Salt Lake City, UT, David Boling of Charlotte, NC, Dawn Carter of Rock Hill, SC, Robert Reed and wife, Ivonne of Cornelius, NC; five great grandchildren, Brittany Chitwood, Tori Dickert, Collin Dickert, Harrison Boling and Alexandria "Allie" Carter; and sister, Louise. Mrs. Boling was predeceased by her husband of fifty-seven years, Marvin Henry Boling; daughter, Christine Frances Boling Dickert; two sisters and four brothers. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 3:00 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, Greenville, SC. Visitation will be Friday, June 6, 2008 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
