Ruby Kethleen Crain

Ruby Kathleen Cottle Crain, 92, of 32 Blue Mountain Drive, died Friday, December 23, 2005. Born in Duplin County, NC, she was the wife of Jerald Edward Crain and a daughter of the late Jesse and Minnie Merritt Cottle. Mrs. Crain was a loving and a devoted wife, mother and the greatest ?Nana?. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her loving husband of 70 ½ years of marriage are, three daughters, Patsy Carol Crain Miller and her husband, Ron, of Emmaus, PA, Gerry Crain Dacus, of Greenville, Beth Crain Finley and her husband, Gene of Geneva, IL; six grandchildren, Theresa Miller Heitz, David Miller, Donna Dacus Barber, Matt Miller, Josh Finley and Jake Finley; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mamie Hollowell, of St. Augustine, Fla; a brother, Franklin Cottle of Wallace, NC. She was pre-deceased by a great-grandson. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm, Tuesday at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday, 1:30 ? 2:45 pm at the funeral home, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer?s Association of Greenville, 301 University Ridge, Suite 5300, Greenville, SC 29601. The family is at the residence.
