Rufina T. Fausto, 86, of 6 Southern Height Drive, died Saturday, February 23, 2008 at Greenville Memorial Medical Center. A native of San Jose City, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, she was a daughter of the late Casimiro Tinio and Julia Santos, and the wife of Artemio Fausto, Sr. Mrs. Fausto was a homemaker. Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Luz Tobias, and Lilia Gomez and husband, Renato, all of Greenville; three sons, Artemio Fausto, Jr. and wife, Emma of New Jersey, Arturo Fausto and wife, Minda of Simpsonville, and Armando Fausto and wife, Zenaida of New Jersey; a sister, Fidela Tinio of Philippines; two brothers, Leonardo Tinio of Virginia, and Numeriano Tinio of New Jersey; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Mrs. Fausto was predeceased by a son-in-law, Luis Fernando. A vigil service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown with visitation to follow until 8:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon Tuesday at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will follow at Graceland East Memorial Park. The family is at the residence. Memorials may be made to Mother Angelica – c/o EWTN, 5817 Old Leeds Road, Irondale AL 35210.
