Rupert Winford “Max” Stringer

Rupert Winford Max Stringer, 2, of Highway 414, died Sunday, September 11, 2005, at Greenville Memorial Medical Center. Born September 18, 2002, he was the son of Tommy Max and Carrie Cureton Stringer. Surviving in addition to his parents are a brother, Thomas Hugh Montgomery Stringer of the home; and maternal grandparents, Hugh and Rosemary Schneider Cureton of Greenville. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Luther Winford and Joyce Price Stringer and a great grandmother, Helon Southerlin Schneider. Memorials may be made to the Children?s Hospital Greenville Hospital System, Office of Philanthropy and Partnership, 255 Enterprise Blvd., Suite 190, Greenville, SC 29615. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2005 from 6:30 until 8:00 PM at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 15, 2005, at 3:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery, Travelers Rest, SC. The family will be at the residence.
