Russell “Russ” Eugene Fowler Jr., 61, of Williamston, passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021.

Born in West Chester, PA he was the son of Nettie B. Torres and the late Russell E. Fowler, Sr.

He attended Labor of the Field Ministry. Russ was a jokester at heart and had a wonderful sense of humor. He loved music and collected movies in particular scary and sci-fiction movies which were his favorite. Russ was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone and he never met a stranger.

Russ is survived by his loving daughter, Amanda Fowler; four grandchildren, Austin Luker, Destiny Luker, Alexis Fowler, and Jay Fowler; one great grandchild, John Whitt; life partner Donna Greene; siblings, Carolyn McMurray, Judy Burgess, Daniel Fowler, and Randy Fowler (Melanni); and numerous nieces and nephews; and his fur baby companion, “Bullet.”

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Fowler.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 17 ,2021, at 3 p.m. at Labor of Fields Ministry, 493 Airline Road, Anderson, SC 29624.
