Ruth Byers Lawson

Ruth Byers Lawson, 84, of 431 West Avenue, died Wednesday, March 14, 2007. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late James B. and Lillie Ayers Byers. Mrs. Lawson retired from Wendy?s after seventeen years of service and was a member of Brandon Baptist Church. Surviving are four daughters, Doris Murray of Travelers Rest, Linda Elrod, Peggy Kay and Teresa Littlejohn all of Greenville; two sons, James A. Lawson, Sr. and Douglas Lawson, both of Greenville; sixteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 ? 7:30 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Services will be Friday at 1:30 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, West. The family is at their respective homes.
