Samuel Arthur Callaham, Jr

Samuel Arthur Callaham, Jr., 79, of 6 Chelsea Circle, died Saturday, December 30, 2006. A Greenville native, Mr. Callaham was the husband of Barbara Callaham and the son of the late Samuel Arthur, Sr., and Nora Howard Callaham. He was retired from The Geer Drug Company after thirty-five years of service. He was a Master Mason of the Scottish Rite, and a Shriner. He was a member of Dunean Baptist Church. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by three daughters, Pam McAlister and her husband, Robert of Easley, Terri Saylors and her husband, Steven of Townville, and Beth Ross and her husband, Mike of Easley; a son, Sam Callaham, III and his wife, Cynthia, of Piedmont; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Frances Eubanks of Greenville; and two brothers, Bobby Callaham of Greenville, and Jerry Callaham of Walhalla. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown with visitation prior to the service from 12:30 until 1:30.
