Sara Moody Lambert

Sara Moody Lambert, 89, of Greenville, SC passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023.

Born in Greenville, SC., she was a daughter of the late Robert and Faye Jones.

Sara was a lifelong member of Berea First Baptist Church.

Sara is survived by a son, Douglas Moody, Jr. and his wife Laree; grandson, Douglas Moody, III and wife Cozette; granddaughter, Courtney Aiken; step-daughter, Pam Fellers and husband David; and step-granddaughter, Kelly Nix.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Douglas L. Moody, Sr., and second husband, Herman Eugene Lambert; and brothers, Bobby Jones and Jimmy Jones.

A visitation will be held Thursday, April 6, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest. The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest Chapel with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
