Sara Sanders Satterfield Pike, 84, wife of William W. Pike, died Thursday, January 25, 2007 at Mountain Home Health and Rehab. Born in Hartwell, GA., she was a daughter of the late John T. and Effie Stovall Sanders. Mrs. Pike was retired from Emb-Tex and was a member of Reedy River Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday school teacher. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Frank Adragna of Williamston; a son and daughter-in-law, William ?Bill? and Ann Satterfield of Taylors; a stepson and his wife, Fred and Charlene Pike of Lenoir, N.C.; a sister, Catherine Koncz of Anderson; eighteen grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Joseph Satterfield; a son, James Ned Satterfield; four sisters; and three brothers. Memorials may be made to Reedy River Baptist Church, 871 N. Highway 25 By Pass, Greenville, SC 29617. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 27, 2007 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, January 28, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at Reedy River Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
