Sarah Elizabeth Edwards Rampey, 81, died Tuesday, September 19, 2006. Born in Nashville, TN, the daughter of the late Walter E. Edwards and Hattie Florence Swindell. Mrs. Rampey was retired from the Greenville County Department of Social Services. She was a member of Christ Church Episcopal. Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Ted Rampey, two daughters Rita R. Dean, Greenville; Shirley F. Rampey, Rock Hill; two sons, Jimmy R. Rampey, Six Mile; Bobby D. Rampey, Lawrenceville, NJ; a sister Ruth Edwards Phillips, Nashville, TN; six grandchildren, Randy Rampey, Melina Rampey Trotter, Melanie Allison Dean, Amber Amelia Shockley, Laura Leigh Dean and Katherine Elizabeth Rampey; two great grandchildren, Naomi Rene? Trotter and Elaina Mary Ann Rampey. Services will be held at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home Northwest Wednesday, at 6:30 pm with visitation prior to the services from 5:00-6:15 pm. Burial will be on Thursday, at 2:00 pm Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens. The family will be at 4 Ridge Rd., Greenville, SC.

What I remember about Aunt Elizabeth was she was funny. She was always talking about AZ talking so loud and eating so much. She would crack us up talking about him and Ann.
