Sarah Florine Traynham

Sarah Florine Winchester Traynham, 73, formerly of Judson, died Friday, August 12, 2005 at Greenville Nursing Center. Born in Salem she was a daughter of the late Homer and Olive May Alexander Winchester. Mrs. Traynham retired from The Quilt Gallery and was a member of Agnew Road Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Gail Dempsey of Greer and Annette Banther and husband B.F., of Simpsonville; a son, Leonard Traynham, and wife, Sheila, of Belton; five sisters, Nora Mae Oliver and Louise Winchester both of DeBary FL, Lillie Batson, husband, Norwood, of Greenville, Ruth Stewart, Edna Barton, and her husband, Buddy, all of Sunset; three brothers, Daniel Winchester, his wife Pearl of Salem, J.C. Pete Winchester of Greenville, and Harold Winchester, his wife Glenda, of Six Mile; six grandchildren, Scott and Heather Traynham, Lamont and Lyle Dempsey, Jamey and Joshua Chapman; and a great grandchild, Abigail Chapman. She is predeceased by two brothers, William and Elbert Winchester. Services will be held on Monday at 12 Noon at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest with visitation from 10:45 ? 11:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, West. The family is at their respective homes.
