Sarah L. Webb

July 15, 1928 - October 19, 2007
Sarah L. Webb, 79, of 108 Shannon Drive, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2007. Born in Anderson, Mrs. Webb was the wife of Paul W. Webb, Jr., and the daughter of the late Claude Samuel and Etrulia Harbin Bice. She was retired as Vice President of Day-N-Nite Food Stores, Inc., and was a life long member of Oakwood Baptist Church, Anderson. In addition to her loving husband of 54 years, she is survived by a daughter, Vicki R. Webb of Taylors; a sister, Betty Ashley of Anderson; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Kat Kat. She was preceded in death by a son, Johnny P. Webb; two sisters, Claudia Bea McCullough and Frances Bowen; and a brother, Melvin Bice. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 22, 2007 in the Remembrance Chapel of Woodlawn Memorial Park with visitation immediately following the service at the chapel. Memorials may be made to Open Arms Hospice, 1836 West Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29681. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to caregivers, Ruth Wayman and Brenda Hume, and the entire staff of Open Arms Hospice for their care.
